Redwoods Stewardship Connect - Effective October 22, 2026
These terms cover the connection between your QuickBooks Online company and Redwoods Stewardship Connect, a tool operated by Redwoods Leadership Group, LLC, doing business as Redwoods Stewardship ("Redwoods," "we"). By authorizing the connection, you agree to them. They work alongside your engagement agreement with Redwoods; if the two conflict, your engagement agreement controls.
Who it is for
The app is available only to organizations that have engaged Redwoods for financial services. It is not offered to the public, and only Redwoods staff use it.
Your authorization
By connecting, you confirm you have the authority to grant Redwoods access to read and record entries in your organization's QuickBooks Online company. You authorize Redwoods to use that access to perform the services in your engagement.
What the app does and does not do
The app reads data from QuickBooks to support our work. At the direction of Redwoods staff, it can also create or update accounting entries, such as deposits and journal entries, as part of the services in your engagement. A Redwoods team member approves every entry before it posts, and each one is labeled "Entered via Redwoods Connect." The app never deletes or voids records in your QuickBooks file.
Your responsibilities
- Keep QuickBooks user access in your organization appropriate and current.
- Tell us promptly if you believe the connection has been misused.
- Disconnect the app, or ask us to, when our engagement ends.
Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the app accesses, how we use and protect it, and how AI tools are involved.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is." It depends on QuickBooks and on Intuit's API, which Redwoods does not control. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Professional judgment by Redwoods staff, not the app alone, remains the basis for the work we deliver.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Redwoods is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability related to the app will not exceed the fees you paid Redwoods in the three months before the claim. This section does not limit any obligations in your engagement agreement.
Ending the connection
Either party may end the connection at any time. You can disconnect from QuickBooks (Settings > Apps) or ask us to remove it. We may also disconnect when our engagement ends or if continued access is no longer appropriate.
Changes, governing law and contact
